Edward J. Biebel is the Clinical Simulation Manager and a Paramedic Science faculty member at Rowan College at Burlington County in New Jersey. With over 30 years in EMS and a decade of experience in education, Ed brings a grounded, field-tested perspective to the evolving world of paramedic instruction.
A state-certified New Jersey EMT Instructor, National Registry Paramedic, and faculty instructor for both AHA and NAEMT, Ed blends clinical expertise with a deep commitment to modern pedagogy. His work has been featured by Laerdal in global case studies and webinars, highlighting his innovative use of video-assisted debriefing and technology-enhanced learning.
Ed is the creator of The Drug Box and Draw Up, two AI-supported tools designed to help EMS students build critical thinking and medication calculation skills using only official prehospital sources. His current focus is on making simulation and pharmacology education more accessible, adaptive, and aligned with the demands of today’s learners.
